Today's Make It Monday Challenge 68 is to make pocket cards. I decided to make mine Memorial Day themed creating two very distinctly different cards using the same stamp set, colors, fold, and embellishments. I almost made a third to incorporate Authentique Glory designer paper, but need to get on with my day.

Both pocket cards use Est. 1776 as the stamp set, Enchanted Evening and Pure Poppy ink. One is made with Stamper's Select White card stock and the other using Classic Kraft. Machine stitching with white thread closes the pockets. Both cards have no designer paper and are made with just stamping.

My Kraft card is 5-1/2" in length with rounded edges swiped with Fresh Snow ink. I stamped the bell image onto Classic Kraft card stock and fussy cut it. Enchanted Evening Baker's Twine was tied around the bottom of the card into a bow and the bell was adhered over the center of the bow with foam dots. Enjoy!

My white pocket card is 5-1/2" in height with square edges swiped using Chamomile Tea Dye ink. My embellishment is Classic Kraft Felt die-cut using the small star from Seeing Stars. I hand sewed an Enchanted Evening button to the center of the star with white embroidery thread and adhered it to my card. Enjoy!

I finally got my new December release today and was so happy! What a fabulous release, as usual, and I can't wait to see what the designers at Papertrey Ink come up with for January. I not only love to receive my new release and play with my fabulous new products, I also like to put everything together and organize it. This evening I only organized my ink alphabetically and the new Canyon Clay card stock with the rest of my paper, as well as labeling the felt and vintage buttons and putting them away. The only stamp set I put together is the one that you see in this card; Tremendous Treats: Valentine.

This is not a Valentine's card per se but can be used as one as I did accent it that way but with a fun summer spin on it with the vivid colors and bold patterns. The boat image in this stamp set would also be very appropriate for this card. I am very happy how this card turned out from my coloring to especially how I decorated the inside by using the Mega Mat Stack 4 die. I did not include a sentiment on the inside so that I can customize it to any occasion.

As this image is a little busy and once you stamp it onto your card stock, it can be hard to define the images. In this instance, I colored the images first with my base color and then went back to do the blending.

For "Get Well" cards, I like to keep them cheerful and always make a card specifically for the recipient. My envelope is always lined with designer paper and my envelope is always decorated to compliment the card.

Autumn Abundance, Mat Stack 5 die-cut, and the Woodgrain Impression Plate are the main elements of this card accented with Kraft and Rustic Cream card stock with a little Distressed Dots designer paper. I also used masculine accessories of button twine, a Dark Chocolate button, and ink distressing with Chamomile to add to the masculinity of this card, with the image panel adhered to the base of the Kraft card stock with foam tape.

For my project today, I used Holiday Photo Finishers stamp set, the Christmas Tree die-cut, Pacific Vineyard Text Style Patterned Paper Collection, Photo Finishers Die-Cut Collection, and the Holly Jolly Impression Plate that I embossed onto my Ripe Avocado card stock on the outside. With my tree die-cut, I embossed it as well and used it for the inside of my card! I use black ink dots on each side of my sentiment and a black rhinestone at the top of my tree. It's very subtle and exactly what my card needed for completion.

We were provided with a lovely photograph for inspiration filled with vibrant fall colors, textures, and patterns.

I wanted to do a home decor project like the above picture so I decided to make a very fun and elegant fall wreath magnet that can be tied around a present, wrapped as a small gift, or for your own home decor that would be a definite eye catcher on your refrigerator. My glue gun was put to very good use with the project gluing on the magnets on the back, I used 4 for stability. My project started with a small grapevine wreath that you can purchase from any craft store. I die-cut several images using the Autumn Acorn Die Collection with Vintage Cream card stock and Dark Chocolate and Fine Linen felt. For my leaves, I used the Rock 'n Roll technique adding in a Scarlet Jewel color with mustard on the bottom leaves. My top leaves were more traditional with the usual fall colors. My acorns were a mix of stamped card stock and stamped felt intertwined with buttons as accents. All of the card stock was ink distressed using Chamomile from the Tea Dye duo. The majority of the ink that I used was Stampin' Up. I die-cut a Jar Label and using the matching image from Friendship Jar: Fall Filler to stamp my frame with Summer Sunrise Ink and my sentiment is also from the same set stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink. A bow was made from Terracotta Tile ribbon and adhered to the wreath with my glue gun and the sentiment was adhere to that. I made sure that the ribbon hung down in the middle of the wreath and snipped the edges at an angle. The was a very fun project to make and I know that it will provide you with some wonderful inspiration. I know my family will enjoy it when they see it on the side of the refrigerator. Homemade home decor always adds such a special touch to anything and with the selection of Papertrey Ink products available to us, the sky is the limit!

I first started my card by die-cutting the cupcake in its entirety lining up the top of my card with the guide on the die-cut and then cut out a separate die-cut, both on white card stock. I wanted to use fun and vibrant colors so I chose the Funky Town designer paper to accomplish just that. As there's a separate die-cut for the cupcake wrapper with very small dotted lines for definition, I recommend using the Metal Shim in your die-cut sandwich with the shim, paper, and then die-cut.

I made a sight mark where to start the stamping of the polka dots on the single cupcake layer using Stampin' Up Pool Party, which is an excellent substitute for Papertrey Ink Aqua Mist, and then stamped the polka dots. I stamped my sentiment from Think Big Favorites #2 with black ink. I then used a medium-sized Raspberry Fizz button to thread my Pink Sorbet twine through from The Twinery and tied my bow on the backside of the button. I then used a Hero Arts Blushed Mixed Accents rhinestone to place in the center of the Raspberry Fizz button.

I die-cut two cupcake wrappers using similar patterns from Funky Town designer paper. I layered the more busy pattern on the outside of my card using foam dimensionals to adhere the wrapper to the card. It looked a little plain to me so I decided to add a little more bling with KaiserCraft rhinestones in light blue at each scallop of the cupcake wrapper. It was just the perfect touch this card needed to make it complete. I then applied adhesive to the back of this layer and adhered it to the front of the card.

On the inside of the card. I used the less busy pattern matching the front cupcake wrapper pattern and adhered it directly to the inside of the card. My sentiment is stamped with Melon Mambo by Stampin' Up, which is also a wonderful substitute for Raspberry Fizz. In the middle of my sentiment, there is a dot were I used a Hero Arts Sea Mixed Accents rhinestone to replace adding a little extra something to the inside of my card.

I started with a Pure Poppy A2 card stock base and cut a piece of Kraft card stock 1/16"of an inch less than A2 size and ink distressed the edges with Chamomile. I used Love Lives Here: Holiday, as my stamp set. I stamped the evergreen images at the top and bottom of the Kraft card stock using Ripe Avocado ink and Pure Poppy for the berries. I cut a piece of designer paper from Holiday Vintage Prints to fit between the evergreen. I die-cut the large snowflake from Damask Snowflakes Die Collection using vintage book print and ink distressed the edges with Chamomile. I adhered the snowflake to the designer paper with foam dots. I then die-cut the angel from the Love Lives Here: Holiday Die Collection with Kraft card stock and stamped it with the coordinating image with Vintage Cream ink. For the angel wings, I used a small scrap of Gold Shimmer card stock and dry embossed it using the Holly Jolly Impression Plate. It matches perfectly. I adhere the angel wings to the back of the angel. I stamped at the bottom of the angel a small evergreen with a berry heart coloring the stamp with Stampin' Up markers of Old Olive and Real Red. I adhered two KaiserScrapbook Self-Adhesive Pearls in Latte on each side of the small evergreen and berry heart to bring balance with the angel wings. I die-cut a small Simply Chartreuse heart from the Love Lives Here: Holiday and adhered that to the angel with a small glue dot. I then adhered a small KaiserScrapbook Self-Adhesive Pearl in Red in the center of the star. I placed foam dots on the back of the angel and adhered it to the center of the snowflake. I then adhered the Kraft card stock to the base of the card. For the inside of my card, I used a sentiment from the Love Lives Here: Holiday stamped in Palette Haystack and pulled in the Ripe Avocado evergreen and Pure Poppy berries from the front of the card onto an Chamomile ink distress cream card stock for the inside of my card.
